I think most casual gamers (although I wouldn't call gamers who know Free Radical casual, but that aside) will think "Free Radical, this must be good!" and not "Free Radical!. :)īut then again, you know, once a developer has made a name for itself the way Free Radical did, people expect a certain level of quality when seeing a game of them in stores. Some went to Nintendo, others to Free Radical, some Microsoft etc etc.Īhhh, you're totally right. Sure it has elements of that original team but you have to remember that it splintered off into many directions. That makes the assumption that it's the same team that made Goldeneye when it most certainly is not. Title: Re: Screenshot Identifying game! Know your games!? 2D games can still entertain and even be top notch in the technical department, just look at games like Odin Sphere or the Tales of Destiny Remake. And all this mess because of a misconception on Sony's part. I guess that's a weird idea of Sony USA at least, while Sony Europe seems to be a little more friendly toward 2D games (which is why Tales of Eternia and Breath of Fire III were released in Europe and not in the US.). Why? I have no clue, but it must have something to do with the 2D factor. For example, Atlus wanted to translate and publish Devil Summoner for PSP, but Sony rejected this idea. Or could it be a Sentimental really does seem to have an odd relationship with 2D games, at least when it comes to the PSP. Hm.looks like a dating sim.could it be a title from the Tokimeki Memorial series (even though the pic doesn't look that much like Tokimeki.)? Or maybe even a Sakura Taisen game.although I am not too sure about the art style in that pic.
